New Universal
Mar. 27th, 2008 11:28 pmI just finished the first six issues of New Universal, having just gotten the softcover collection, today.
Two problems:
1) I don't know if there's going to be any more. Ever. And I really think there needs to be.
2 (and related to the first) It seems far too plausible. Too likely that that will be the reaction. And that those are precisely the kinds of people we'll need.
It's always weird when I'm thinking about a thing, or interconnected set of things, I go to get my comics, and there that thing is, in an important iteration. Synchronicity which I appreciate, greatly.
Just some thoughts.
Check it out. $15 for the softcover, which is three dollars less than the single issues, themselves.
Later.

...I hardly think the Superflow really counts as a fictional concept. :)

Date: 2008-03-28 12:35 pm (UTC)I subscribe to a podcast on my Tivo called Indy Mogul, a no-budget however-often filmmaking how-to show, but I never actually watch it. As I was in the midst of casting a couple weeks ago I finally decided to watch one. It was about film noir.
