Aum Shinrikyo, millennial fervor, and the world's only post-apocalyptic culture. ONLY. Tragic as the events of Septeber 11, 2001 were, two planes in a building do not an Atomic Bomb make.

To remove the story Akira from Japan is to tell a different story. While it may be a good story, with interesting themes, it will always be something that could have been done better, with just a Small concession, and Lot more understanding.

Aye. As mixed as Black Rain was a movie...it's title line embodied how strikingly horrofic the atomic bombs were to any other single instants in mankind.
