This is precisely what people were warned about, when BlueTooth/RFID connections came out. There was no security, no encryption, and the market didn't seem like it was going to provide the capability, at any time in the near future.
You'd think, you'd THINK they could take three seconds to note that people were warned about this, by securities experts, and that companies pretty much said "Meh, we'll get around to it."
