Last night and today...
Jan. 20th, 2008 12:16 pmLast night, there was Cloverfield, which was a bleak, terrifying film, though not worth the hype. They would have been better serverd with bursts of static followed by pieces of screen shots. One of the Coney Island shots, even, would have been beautiful. Anyway, fine film, stay till the very end of the credits.
After that, we went over to
tsarina_bomba's house, and hung out and watched Reefer Madness: The Musical, followed by the last half of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Neither of which are as "pot-humour" themed, as one might think. NPH, in the latter, is especially amazing. In the former, there is nothing to compare to Alan Cumming as Pan-the-Goat-God, "Listen to Jesus, Jimmy" and Mary Sunshine's Transformation sequence. Beautiful.
I dreamed about sex in groups, last night. Not the acts, but the atmosphere, the feelings of closeness, of people who understand the needs and wants of those near them... Group jealousy in mutually exclusive tensioun, ending in an atmosphere of openness and sharing. Nevermind, it's prety much impossible to describe, and I've no idea what precipitated it.
I've been sitting here with this unposted for about 15 minutes.
