Deadsy - [Key To Gramercy Park]--- So i've had all my classes now, and all of my books are going to come to a little under two hundred dollars. If i had kept the math class it would have been more. but i didn't. (VNV Nation - [Darkangel (Azrael)]). If you're wondering why i'm dropping a class, it's for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being that i would have hated it, at this point, and none of my other classes lends a damn thing to it... Why does this matter you ask? Again, a number of reasons.

In my experience, the classes i take end up lending things to each other, and have ddone so, so much, that i've begun to be able to see where they will and won't co-operate. Math Modelling simply wouildn't have meshed, with the rest of my courses, and i realised that, today. My academic mindset is, at present, not nearly logistically oriented enough that i could do well in a math class. I'm more fucused on practical applications, and metaphysics. To do well in a math, right now, i would need a cirriculum of tech courses, to back me up.

The Avalanches - [Frontier Psychiatrist]--- So, i'm dropping the math course, but keeping the rest, so i still have a full course load. I really like the German class, and my professor's really cool. I have company in the History of Western Phi class, so it should be good.... Damn this post is taking me a long time to get done. Too many distractions.. But this year seems to be going fairly well, thus far... Let's hope the trend continues...

Again, i know i've been posting, rather sparsely, but my day is now full of school, and other shite i need to do. I could hve gotten online, as soon as i got home, i know, and written some lj entries, and i could get on first thing in the morning. (Empire Records - [Never Met a Girl Like You Before]). But i'm generally too damn tired to do that, And, again, today, saw some people i had missed, rather a bit...

Other than that, it's SSDD, in the Wolven Camp. I need to go read some journals, and then get some sleep, as i have to wake up in the morning, and am rather low on the caffeine supply. (Eminem - [Say goodbye to Hollywood]). So i'll need to get up, as easily as possible... Classes, and what not... Hmm...

I'll try to post, more, especially when classes start catalysing thought.... Other than thatm enjoy the random German, i'll be posting, here.

Dream Well

That's an interesting philosophy you have behind choosing courses for any given semester....certainly sounds like a useful one though...I have to agree that when I've been able to structure a course load around a similar theme or mindset it is more easy and pleasant to take all the classes at one time and integrate them into something coherent...though unfortunately in my case i've rarely been able to do that...too many odd and often useless core requirements to take in order to graduate...many of which i couldn't reconcile with my own interests....argh. Had i tried to do what you are doing i don't think i'd be graduating on time ;-/ Though this year should be considerably better...have most of the crap out of the way so i can take mostly stuff i have at least Some interesting in...and choose profs who i enjoy...But you are very lucky to be able to do this the way you want to...and i too hope that this semester will continue to go well for you. :-) Good luck. *hug

The classes are all focused toward my major. The math is a core requirement, and i'll get it out of the way, eventually.

This is very random, but I stayed at the Gramercy Park Hotel. My mom and I walked around the park itself and you really do need a key to it. It's a private park and dogs aren't allowed in it so everyone was walking thier dog around it. Okie. . .I've definitely gone insane.

YAY!
