Angel: After the Fall, Issue 1

So, having just finished it, I finally felt compelled to send a letter to another comic I love.

'After The Fall Team,

'Thank you. The more I watched it (and I watched it Often) the more I felt like "Not Fade Away" should have been three episodes. Thank you for following that Cataclysmic, Always-Fighting, Never-Ever-Say-Die ending with one of the only two possibly satisfying options, and the only one that would have allowed an actual continuance. There is only one way to follow that, and I look forward to learning of the other changes that have swept the crew.

'I thank you all for penning and illustrating a story that is believable in its execution, by which I mean that in the context of that kind of universe, that kind of multi-dimensional, utterly evil, machinistic, meticulous corporation with an investment in the "Starts with 'A,' ends in 'pocalypse'" wouldn't even blink at dragging an entire city to Hell. Well-depicted, sirs.

'Thank you for this, and I'm most certainly looking forward to reading more, and seeing where you take this.

I've got mixed feelings about it. (Adoring the end of Angel like I did.)

Although the thing with the Wolfram and Heart liaison is so obvious I'm shocked I never thought it was a possibility.

Oh I Loved the ending. I just thought it should have been three episodes long.

Yeah, it's certainly a WR&H thing to do, which is why I'm waiting to see who Else shows up, and in what Capacity. I mean, lots of people have died, in the course of this show, many of whom were Very Bad.
