wolven7: (Dream House)

I dreamed about being in a giant hotel/mall/office building, in which the Mall that I recognised had been parted up, and spread amongst different floors. Different entire floors with commbinations of stores and restaurants. All empty, except for those of us on the elevator, and the noises of mall commerce at Christmas. The sounds of people there, but nothing to see...

Strange.

Do you really pay attention to the symbols in your dreams? Not the bullshit that the dream books tell you, but what the things you see in your dreams mean to you, and how they interact with the material in your life? You should.

Back to the West Wing.

I dreamed I was in my bedroom hanging out with Corey and our friend Todd from high school, who now lives in KY. Corey proposed and Todd just sat there. At first the ring was exactly what I wanted, then when I looked again the setting was completely different, and out of 6 round diamonds, one of them was shrinking and another one was missing.

I've never actually read any books on interpreting dreams. I've always focused on what things might symbolize to me, or where they might have come from in my daily life.

Very good. Also, consider the social construction of what your symbols might mean.

much like my waking life, i'm a lucid dreamer.

I only really, really dream when i've pretty much sexmagiced (minus the sex and the magic parts) myself to a pleasantly unconscious oblivion. Then the only hard parts about payin attention to my dreams is figuring out their source, internal or external.

i almost worry about the ones that have no source.

Ambient temperatures can affect internal conditions.

lately my sleeping habits had been changed naturally,
I used to have break at night, about 2 hours.
during my second session, mean after the break,
I am dreaming interesting deep things, means not echo of my daily activities only, odd
do you have correlation between dreaming and sleeping regime?

Not necessarily. Sometimes I can sleep for a few minutes and have vivid, intense dreams, or none at all. Same with a whole night's sleep. It depends on what I'm doing, and where my head is, and sometimes, how much caffeine I've had, before bed.

Usually indicated by recent events.

I'm not sure whether I should pay attention to what my dreams tell me, or at least what I think they tell me; I've been married to at least a dozen girls, and had Sparky as a girlfriend.

There's a thin and blurry line between what they are telling you, and what you think they are telling you. But it's there.
