I have 6 two+ page papers due tomorrow. D:
WHY would a teacher assign 5 "short papers" that have to be a minimum of 2 pages in ONE assignment!? When that one assignment also has 8 self-assessment exercises AS WELL?

That and Condon's paper is due. And yeah, I still don't know what topic I'm writing about. Maybe something about the Black Elk, Lakota Sioux crying for a vision ritual. Yeah, that sounds fun...

But I have someone I really, really, really like and that's making me happier?

I:m sitting in the computer room of a small school where I only taught 3 classes today instead of 4 because there was a speech contest that was disscussed in my vicinity, but no one thought to make sure that I understood. So I totally didn:t. But that:s okay. Other than that, I need to clean my apt and figure out what I am so alergic to in my apt, because at night (and maybe this is why I:ve been sleeping so badly) my nose closes. It doesn:t seem like there is any blockage, it just doesn:t want to put air through it. Which hurts. Maybe it:s cuz I:m dehyrated . . .

And Neuromancer is hurting my brain . . . But I NEED to finish it. I refuse to put it down and start a new book, so I NEED to finish it. The writing style is not very easy to read though . . .

Home "sick." Mostly reading and putting D&D things into my geektastic computer.

Heart catapulting all over the place. Still no key. Ex's birthday yesterday with no word from her; not sure if she's avoiding me. Not sure if I should care. Spending time with a nice girl and watching Zim with her. Running into a bunch of other nice girls at Tango.

Speaking of whelp, Tango's still happening.

Just made onion & garlic soup. I rather enjoy cooking things regularly, and being able to say I cook regularly... but I don't eat much. My cohabitor eats more than I do, which makes the timing for sharing meals and the budgeting for buying food wonky.

No progress on new games. MSU coming out next month.

Work... slow and steady. I'm just hoping that my 'slow' is fast enough.

Home is... mostly kept tidy? Dishes get dirty then clean again, D&D books get unshelved and then reshelved. Lots of longstanding things around to which I need to get, including reading the insurance policies I signed four years ago, and the charter rules for the condo. (I might be breaking the code by having a poster with a dragon on it, oh nose!)

All in all, life is good. I'm still waiting for that time machine, though. Honestly, I would expect it to be delivered yesterday. Or would that void the warranty?

You should only care in that it's a pre-existing emotional connection, on a day designated for those.

What's more likely is that you'll steal the schematics, or be given them, at some point in the future, by a mysterious stranger, bedraggled and aged, and then you'll build it, save the world with it, but be horribly scarred by the event, aging you well beyond your years...
