Dreamed of conflict, war, people trying to destroy each other, and someone dressed as Jada Pinket Smith trying to tell me that everyone sought to destroy evryone else, to take primacy, and she tried to tell me that that's what I wanted, too. I slapped her in the face. Several times. War or not, you don't get to tell me "what I want." I told her what I wanted to offer, which was the View From Outside, the ultimate internalisation of reality, wherein you are not Prime, because you are everything; you Experience Everything. The view from the Void, in the Rising Chaos, to be the generative Will that runs it all. That's what I "want," for everyone. Because this conversation was sparked my an ethnicty war within and archological complex, I woke up with "Helter-Skelter" stuck in my head.
After that part, I walked through the food court, and sat down with
chickwow, for a little bitt of dinner. Baked chicken, and a little bit of macaroni and cheese, with just a touch of hot sauce. She gave me some of hers, and it was pretty tasty. That's about when I woke up.
Conflict is one thing, opposition and dedication, difference of ideas, but one group trying to utterly destroy another? Gets us no where.
Anyway, here are these, from
raoin:
majik: I chose that spelling at a time when I noticed that "magic" denotes conjuring and illusion and "magick" a very specific conneted duality of conceptual systems. I needed something else, something that, along with context would display that I wasn't talking about Wicca, or Crowley, or Only Illusion. I was talking about Magic. I've taken to merely making light of the spelling differences, these days. Also, she was a kick ass character, who never got a fair shake.
england: "There is a very little known folk tale that holds that England, Scotland, and Ireland were all created, designed and planned by three raven brothers on a drunken comisserative bender. The oldest created England, then middle created Ireland, and the youngest created Scotland. In light of that story, certain things make a lot more sense."
hate: Hate is a very powerful motivator. When you hate something, despise it to its very core, every time you see it, you will seek to change it, to make everyone aware of it. You change what you hate, when you can, or you're just a whining jerk.
the morrigan: "Gaelic Goddess[es] of war, a tree part deity comprised of hatred, bloodlust, and cunning, represented by Crows and Ravens, a fertility goddess whose nourishment comes from the blood of the battlefield to make the grass grow green. Goddess, Queen, Force of Nature. Awesome Woman."
ireland: "There is a very little known folk tale that holds that England, Scotland, and Ireland were all created, designed and planned by three raven brothers on a drunken comisserative bender. It's also Green, and pretty, and war torn, and I want to go there, one day, just to see it. Just to feel it under my feet.
love: Also a very powerful motivator. Very mind-altering thing, Love. It can very easily break a person, or people, depending on how they're put together...
And that was only six, by the way.
So the new bed is up and together.
For those of you I've not seen on an IM program, of recent, I apologise. Thesis, etc.
You should come here, and we'll talk.
I miss what the Douglas House meant to me.
That is all.
