Does one argument lead seamlessly to the other? The metaphor of shock is a powerful one, and the film-makers exploit it to provoke a connection that is—well, shocking. I hope it sparks debates everywhere.'

Huh. Put together in a way that i think will get the message across to a few more people. A bit heavy-handed, at times, sure, but people need that, occassionally.

Go forth and BitTorrent "The Trap: Whatever Happened to our Dreams of Freedom". As it's a BBC broadcast documentary, it's even quasi-legal to do so. And as it's not available here, BT the only way to see it.

Its the sequel to "The Power of Nightmares" (also a must-see) and it's bloody brilliant, covering much that is contained the in the above video as well as well as Game Theory and definitions of humanity.
