wolven7I spent roughly $270 dollars, today, on oil, transmission, brake, radiator and other services.
On the upside, with the surprise need of brake fluid, and the surprise lack of there being any brake fluid in Jiffy Lube, there was also the surprise offering of a ride by a stranger. Someone randomly offered to take me to the autoparts store. Of course I armed myself, just in case, but it was still nice to see that someone out there was willing to do a good deed, for "its own sake."
Other than that, today was fairly uneventful.
Finished Revelations. It was good, and had some really good nested reality concepts, but the author... well, he tried a little too hard, in some areas, and mugged a little too much for the camera, if you get my meaning. But pleasant, and a fun read, nonetheless. :)
