Because
ego_likeness rock so hard.
Aug. 26th, 2007 07:12 pmKeep an ear out for their "You Better Leave the Stars Alone," from the Where's Neil When You Need Him? album.
Which, by the way, if you consider yourself a Neil Gaiman fan and don't own that album, you really, really need to go buy it, right now. Wonderful musical accompaniment to many stories you know and love.
Enjoy.

Date: 2007-08-27 04:25 am (UTC)Also, random:
I was watching... or half listening while doing other things, to the second showing of 4400 and came up with a theory.
4400 spoiler warning~ :D Highlight to read, if my HTML works how I want it.
Start of Spoiler. Okay, so... Tom's got the marked dude guy inside him, yeah? And none of the marked are promicine people, yeah? We all want our Tom back to normal and stuff, 'cause he's the good guy, or at least the protagonist. He was also on that list of people from THE BOOK. So, my sudden theory: If Tom takes promicine, it'll hurt like a bitch, and kill the Marked dude inside of him and leave Tom as the person he was before, plus power~ End of spoiler. :D

Are you saying that you think that the marked people could handle promicine because of Jordan's plan... or because of natural evolution? Or are you saying something else?
It's possible that in the future, since the Marked came back after the 4400 came back, that there was a select few, an underground movement or somesuch, that refused to take Promicine (especially if they figured out that it would kill them), which I realize leads to annoying paradox... but say that's the case, then there could still be some Marked that can't handle promicine.

Date: 2007-08-27 10:18 pm (UTC)Oh wait... Kyle gave Sean a shot, didn't he? Hmm...
Perhaps they'll try to mark Jordan and realize that they can't because of the promicin? Maybe his body will reject it, which is how they learn that the marked and the promicin positive can't be effected?

Date: 2007-08-27 10:39 pm (UTC)I think that that may be the case, but I also think that Kyle is being played by a future faction, as well, in the form of Cassie, and I don't think that "the marked" would want Tom powered, if they thought they'd be unable to control him. Though, again, they might not know, yet, AND Cassie might not be working with "the marked."
Could be a completely separate faction. And that list she gives him may also be people guaranteed to Die from the shot. We don't have anyone having taken it yet.
Hmm. Too many variables. We shall see.
