The next time someone uses the expression "a day at the beach" at me, to mean something easy and fun, I'm going to punch them right in the face.

Ryam got stung by a jellyfish.

We got fined $87.50 for having glass on the beach.

I lost my sunglasses in the ocean.

On the way home, at Waffle House, they got All of our orders t least slightly wrong, the jukebox sucked, and we were hot.

The drive back was awesome, with awesome music, and stuff like that.

We all had fun in the water, and swam for hours.

It was an eventful day at the beach, all told.

I am very tired.

I take the loss of my sunglasses as an offering to the sea, and by god, there had better be an Awesome storm, come Dragon*Con.

End transmission.

I've been doing some research, and I think I'm going to attend Dragon Con this year. Maybe I'll see you there.

Is Ryam okay?

He's fine. Just a bit of discomfort, for a while.

Awesome Storm.

You mean like weather, right? Not the storm of awesome that D*Con simply is?

We shall see what may be done.

No, not from you, this time. I'll make it clear that I am not accepting any "I sent you a news report/boat/helicopter" situations, in this regard.

Essentially, I just spent two-hundred some-odd dollars plus the sacrifice of something that I Really Really enjoyed, to get this to work. That damn well ought to be enough, and if you add anything to it, the city might collapse. Or Florida might fall off.

It's true, when I thought about "let's make sure he gets the awesome storm he wants" I saw scenes from The Day After Tomorrow. Backing off, then.

As long as you're claiming responsibility, be sure to leave a clear moment for the parade. ^_^

You four seem to attract trouble with jellyfish.

Are you having difficulty understanding that jellyfish live in the ocean, Jekyll island/Tybee Island are in the ocean, jellysfish are not nice, and therefore you should be careful while in the ocean?

We're very careful about where and when we swim, even going so far as to study the preferred habitat of the jellyfish, and to modify our swimming habits accordingly.

Those fuckers are Following Us.

So true. But if I get a healthy storm, around Dragon*Con way, I'll take it as payment for services rendered. ;)

I missed my chance to arrange softball at Jaycee! And grill hot dogs and boca burgers!

I've never been a big fan of grilling at the beach. Sand in the food.

Ahh, but Jaycee Park isn't at the beach so much as next to it. With free parking.

Joe totally had his keys stolen while we were at Tybee a couple weeks ago. He did leave them unattended while we walked down the beach that night...but still. Why steal some keys that it might take you days to find the car to? Just to be a jack ass?
