wolven7: (The Very Devil)

I don't know if I'm going to say this right, and there are possibly a lot of people out there who are going to say "duh," at this, and you know what? To hell with you, if you do.

Posit that you believe in re-incarnation. Even if you don't, let's pretend you do. Let's also pretend you believe in multiversal theory.

Everywhere in every possible universe there is a something that resonates more to you than to anything else, the multiverse being infinite, infinity then being a necessity. We've talked about this. That's not the hard part.

Every life you live, you are You. You are a permutation of yout "soul's" components that equals out to You. Right now, you are who you are. But-- and here's the fun-- if you were to have been Genghis Khan, previously, then not only are there infinite other yous that have also been G.K. but there are infinite other everyone's that have been. You, and everyone else in the entire multiverse, have some common resonant signature. All things being equal, there are infinite permutations in which you resonate more with anyone else, than you do with your selves.

Are you picking up what I'm putting down?

When you re-incarnate, your vibrational signature is always you. The energy pattern simply fluctuates a bit, and re-focuses, yes? In order that it do this, it has to recombine, and recalibrate. When it recalibrates it retains the dominant signature that screams You, as the base wave on which the whole thing is built, but the emergent patterns are now resonant with other people, as well. Whatever it is that You are (and there are infinite Yous infinite everyones, infinite individuals with infinite permutations), it has the ability to, from the starting state, mimic and match frequency, to some degree, with anything or anyone else, anywhere in the multiverse.

Now direct that, aim it, and adjust your sets. You control the horizontal, and the vertical.

These thoughts sparked by reading InterWorld, which showed up today, and just shatter-refracted my brain, a little bit... Okay a Lot bit...

I'd like to know what that core tone here is, then, thanks. I've got a lot of noise, but little signal.

beethovens fifth is still beethovens fifth, regardless of whether it's played by an orchestra or a kazoo.

that said, what's a vibrating string in space but a waveform for a note.

exquisite solipsism

what if everything around you
isn't quite as it seems
what if all the world you think you know
is an immaculate dream

You know, I never picked that one up.

But the solipsism is intersubjective (i love that word). I can propagate ripples, but I don't control the ocean. I can find faults and cracks, and create a tsunami, even, but in an infinite field, net loss, gain, or change is always zero.

Everyone else is real, not merely expressions of my resonance, but they are definitely capable of registering..

Ok what I got from that is this:

Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is mearly energy condensed through a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, life is only a dream and we are the imaginations of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather.

Seriously, if we all experience the exact same things, since we all have the exact same lives, who's to say 'we' is the right word to use? If 'I' have been Genghiz Khan, and 'you' have been Genghiz Khan and even given a multiverse, we both did the exact same things in our role as Temujin, who's to say there's any such thing as we?

Another flippant quote: There is no you, there is only me.

It seems like there is no such thing as plural. I suddenly think the entire universe is a trap made by god, a biofeedback loop. Someone/thing/god created this universe purely as a philosophical distraction, intent on experiencing life to it's fullest, an entire universe was created, but only one 'soul' was used. One 'soul' living every life in this universe, in an endless loop. It's Quantum Leap^infinity, but 'we' aren't trying to correct, just observe.

I hope that makes some kind of sense.

Exactly. Only completely in the opposite. Everything everyone does is the infinite soup that makes up god, which then loops back on itself and makes everything else. If infinity is truly infinity (and it must be, no matter how you look at anything) then there is nothing that does not exist, including and necessarily the negation of this very truth.

If infinity is infinity, then infinity is not infinity.

I am not you, not me, not anything, and I am necessarily all of it. As are you.

We are all one, we are all all. Yes?

This is going to make my brain hurt:)

Also? Why are the DMV's in the ghetto? The two closest are in South DeKalb Mall, and here:

445 Capitol Ave SE
Atlanta GA. 30312.

I'm kind of thinking that's close to the Ghet-TO house we looked at with Zach, but am not certain.

Actually, that's a lot closer to downtown, and easier to get to.

good to see you are catching up with yourself
