p.s. did i ever tell you i met Many Patinkin. when he was touring with the Secret Garden (play, obviously) and my friend Sean was playing Colin, Mandy Patinkin was playing his dad, the "hunchback". when i heard him sing in the episode in which his daughter dies, it took me back.
This article is dated july 9th so she is proablt referring to Mandy being on "Criminal Minds". However, as of Monday, July 23, he has quit that show, so if this movie is greenlit, there is still a chance he may be called in to reprise his character.
I would like to think so. Any reason why he quit Criminal Minds? Anywho, I want Mandy to be in it, but if they've got a new plot, already, they might have to do some re-writing.
Taking into consideration money, timing, and investment of other actors, they might not want to bother. :\
No reason. Someone leaked a rumour that he asked for a raise after the show became a hit, but was denied. The day after that was reported, one of the shows many producers denied that and said he never showed up to rehearshal for the first episode of the new season and has yet to explain why.
One of his co stars has said there were times when Mandy would get upset over some of the episodes content and perhaps he just didn't want to deal with that anymore.
