Emphasis mine. Read it.

And from the Post: 'Bush administration officials unveiled a bold new assertion of executive authority yesterday in the dispute over the firing of nine U.S. attorneys, saying that the Justice Department will never be allowed to pursue contempt charges initiated by Congress against White House officials once the president has invoked executive privilege.'

I don't care for guns. I don't like have something that will eventually run out of ammo.

Of course, I think we should be allowed to wear swords (perhaps by permit like guns) openly on the streets.

Generally, neither do I, but in terms of maintaining a "well regulated militia," it kind of becomes important.

Interesting side note:

yeah, I looked over that when you brought it up, given the lack of capital letters used, I would assume our founding fathers meant small arms should be available for all (barring those who were not landowners, under 30, women, not white, etc....)

Given the stringency they used for other things, the very vagueness of the wording used in the second amendment gives it much more power...
