Somewhat Maudlin: A Game, Instead
Jun. 28th, 2007 02:09 amDavid Bowie - [The Man Who Sold the World]--- My thoughts are tending kind of mleh, at the moment, so rather than treat you to thoughts on the nature of station, and the frequency of individuals' meetings, and loci of storms, and such, I leave you with this:
I tell you everything you need to hear
But nothing that you want to know.
The only unspoken word
Is the key you need to open me.
I determine life and death
And open every gateway.
What am I?
Rasputina - [Diamond Mind]--- Good night, all.
I tell you everything you need to hear
But nothing that you want to know.
The only unspoken word
Is the key you need to open me.
I determine life and death
And open every gateway.
What am I?
Rasputina - [Diamond Mind]--- Good night, all.

Date: 2007-06-29 03:58 pm (UTC)Law fulfills almost everything, but is just as prone to closing gateways as opening them. (unspoken word being convention)
Breath sometimes tells us what we want to know.
Self or Thought could fit, but that would depend on the idea that inspiration is necessarily external and we couldn't tell ourselves what we want to know.
Reality is... probably too vague an answer.
