Hey: HPL, Dreams, and Mike Carey

wolven7For whoever it was that we were trying to remember the name of the family in The Lurking Fear, it was Carter. Randolph Carter. Came to me, looking at a bunch of Cthulhu Icons...
Dreamed about a Ninja Warrior-style contest, between two teams, and if you fell you were out for a round, but not the whole contest. Announced by Fox News, the game was played by The X-Men movie cast, and some television stars, like Grant from MythBusters, and Betty White. There were various effortss to steal fetishes from the opposing teams, as they all had these seeds and branches, and after weveryone had stoplen from everyone, each side made a line in the sand, and I jumped downto clear it up, and make the traversing of that line as painful as possible.
Andre 3000 and I had a conversation, and I talked about how I'd seen him at R Thomas, the other night, and how it looked like he was on a date. He told me that he felt it when I stole the seeds from his base, and I said that I must be slipping, because I had been in his house, the other night, and he didn't notice at the time. He laughed and said he knew, then looked more severe and said he Knew. We shook hands and went back to the competition.
Something else about driving to my great aunt's house, and the different ways we could do that. Vorticies in the middle of living room floors, and having to arrange furniture around them...
Having re-read the final issue of Lucifer, last night, before bed, I now feel it again: The urge to meet Mike Carey, and shake his hand, and say thank you. If you've not yet read the series, I highly recommend it.
This is my 4,775 entry, and I've had this thing for five and a half years.
