Tom Waits - [Walk Away]--- I had something I wanted to post, but now it sounds shite.

I want to do something with stormwood, but it seems like Tom's telling me to take a step back, from what is already, to me, seeming a stagnation.

Tom Waits - [Shore Leave]--- I want to put a magical community together, here. Something that's not just discussions of theory and shit, but a full working group, that utilises the potential inherent in the LiveJournal format.

I just have no fucking clue how to do that, it seems. Every attempt to start stops almost as quickly.

We have to wake up early, this morning, so I'm going to stop being pissy, and go to bed.

i don't do anything magical in groups in any form as this tends to require interaction with inferior humans, but good luck with that.

Like I asked earlier; why do you feel so absolutely driven to do something with this? How do we use this potential? (I'm actually seeing something like what we had going on, on IRC, with the shaped communal mindspace. Though that might be the recent reminiscence talking.)

I honestly don't know, but it's this feeling of potential, a forum something to be Done, and a place were people can feel open doing it...

And yeah, I was thinking about the IRC thing, too, and also, then, wondering it it was the nostalgia...

As for who... I don't know. I was thinking of an Invitation Only thing, but... that doesn't seem right.

Maybe more of a ask the enter kind of thing...

You could have a questionnaire for people to fill out to send with their request. Not with right or wrong answers or anything, but why they want to join to make sure they're serious about it.

I'm interested, but not sure I see any particular reason to use LJ as a format for magickal activity.

The format allows for the textual layout of works, and a visual/text-based format, coupling certain aspects of intent and long-term planning. It's something I'd like to play around with, a bit.
