Hm. Zombies.

That's a bit behind of schedule, isn't it?

Let's see, Star Wormwood, falling like a burning torch: Check.

Queztlcoatl returning to seek vengeance/absolve followers: Check.

Eat the sun... Hm. Gimme a minute.

Yeah, zombies are late. The walking dead were supposed to happen, before I did

Hah. More humourous, less pretentious than mine. Kind of appropriate.

I like the tone of yours. Definitely has the ring of finality to it.

I've resigned myself to a bit of pretension and a slight tendency towards hipsterism. I was thinking about this earlier, during the abortive attempts at shopping. I went to Art School for fuck's sake. I am Damned lucky I got out with so little of that influence.

True enough. We've all got a little bit of it; hipsterism, as a whole, is just what happens when people take it far too far.

Diddly-bopping? That sounds kind of filthy.

Sorry, we had a bit of a screw up in PR and Marketing. The Zombies were supposed to be delivered a while ago, but they were on back order because of the special formula we were using on this batch. The Crafters Union didn't tell us, and we were in a scramble until they delivered them.

.... We will be getting a rebate on the zombies because of the late delivery. Also, I think we didn't get nearly as many as we ordered.

Jeez. It's not like this stuff is difficult. Make sure they know that if this kind of crappy delivery happens, one more time, we will be discontinuing our patronage.

I have made them aware of it.

Please also be advised that the locusts are going to be blue instead of green. Apparently the yellow dye we wanted is out of stock thanks to a run on demon bananas that use the same tone.

Took you long enough

those were yours?

Sorry. I think most of the parts are retrievable. They were... uh... they were on warranty, right?

Lemme just trace my steps back... I think the subway has most of them... (mutter mutter) damn weak Iraq war metaphor...

I rather like the start of said acronym. Crap, what would I do? I still miss her and know I shouldn't. She's one of the people I'd call to check up on if it were all ending. Some of the impossibilities wouldn't matter at that point. But I've thought the same about other girls, and if I get involved with and then lose someone else, I'll probably think the same about them when running through survival (or lack thereof) scenarios. I'd rather not, of course, but some things don't really offer us that choice.

I am now the owner of a large amount of debt. As a nice little service bundled with said debt, they're letting me stay in this shiny new condo!

Well, once they're broken, they're pretty much broken. Shoddy decomposition work...

Man, debt and housing go hand in hand. Debt and adulthood, really...
