It's very hard to live by these words, because they are applicable to every situation. When you have a deep-seated fear of rejection, abandonment, failure, and success, it's hard not to see everything as a lack of security. It's significantly more difficult to see it as opportunity, and to apprehend and act on that opportunity.

Personal relations, professional endeavours, all of it: it only wants your apprehension and your action, and your understanding that nothing is owed you, only what you make and take.

Why do you think I try to force myself into those actions, so much? It's just a matter of needing to do it, as I parse it. Of being comfortable in my discomfort, as it were.
