Like anything we are able to do, however, we do not necessarily need to continually make changes. Last night: discussion of Pentecostal denominations and Snake Handling. It will be given to them the ability to do, whom Jesus has chosen, sure; what I mean is you'll be able to handle snakes, and fear not poison, but shit man, Jesus didn't say do it all the time. Just, if it should happen to come up, don't worry about it.

Same with the rest of the powers given unto the chosen. You can make golems, but should you do it every day? I don't think so. That's a lot of damned golems.

Tom Waits - [Spare Parts II and Closing]--- Whatever, all I'm saying is, though you can make changes, all the time, that doesn't mean that those changes will be beneficial to make. Break it down, see if the change is going to do you good or ill, and if that ill might not be a long term good.

Set your goals, plan to reach them.

I'm out.

But if you don't use it, it might just rot and fall off.

It's a variation of the tendency of people when they find out something is good for them. They go apeshit with it, and are surprised when it makes them sick, like people with green tea polyphenol supplements (http://www.newscientist.com/channel/health/dn11786-green-tea-can-be-harmful-in-large-quantities.html).

And we wonder why no one knows the true name of God anymore...He got sick of the incessant housecalls, no doubt.

That'd be the where of it, I think. "It's good so I can do it forever, ande everything will be perfect!" Except that Vitamin A, which you need to live, can kill you, if you have too much of it.

Too much of a good thing can either hurt you, or become meaningless.
