Comments I left to [livejournal.com profile] lunar_echo:

'She told me once there is a part of her in everyone, though Neil believes I'm more Delirium than Tori, and Death taught me to accept that, you know, wear your butterflies with pride. And when I do accept that, I know Death is somewhere inside of me. She was the kind of girl all the girls wanted to be, I believe, because of her acceptance of "what is." She keeps reminding me there is change in the "what is" but change cannot be made till you accept the "what is."

'. . .Over the last few hours I've allowed myself to feel defeated, and just like she said if you allow yourself to feel the way you really feel, maybe you won't be afraid of that feeling anymore.'
- Tori Amos

We are designed to notice and understand patterns. We are able to make changes to them, when we recognise what those pattens are. Because then we see them, then we can see how they work, how they fit with the other patterns that we link together and call a world-view, and when we know as much about that, as we can, then we have the understanding of how to make it something else.

Dreams wer of trips to stores, in shopping centres that I haven't seen since I was a kid, malls and people's houses at night, and a cameo by Alton Brown to tell the gaming group to keep the noise down. All of those things spun out into their own longer sections, of course.

I'm going to go eat something. I'm going to need my strength, today.

It's funny. You can't change anything, if you look at it like this, without changing everything, according to your rules. I mean, if we are/reflect Everything, and it is us, then when you change yourself, you change the nature of the Uni/Multiverse.

I am Not awake enough for this, yet.

Maybe you think not, but I think you got it, in one.

You're standing in a group of trees, and there are trees everywhere around you, and you can't figure out which way to go. Suddenly, you shift slightly to the left, and it's not just trees, any more.

It's an orchard. Rotate yourself, rotate the world, things lock into place, make sense, etc.
