She wants me to go to Church.

In a sense, maybe you are. I tend to, as well, but the Universe, and those I tend to look at for them tend to see it differently.

I mean, in your case, there's gotta be reciprocity to make up for being blamed for everything. But at the same time, it's only blame, and you take it as you will. So it's really a matter of some really numerous, shitty little favours.

I'd say do it. I'm all about Appeasing Teh Mommy.

But then, my mommy grew up Catholic and then didn't care too much which way my brother and I chose to go. Which is how I've spent more time in the Mosque that my babysitters took me to as a young child than all the time I've spent in Catholic church combined throughout my life.

So I have it easy. My mom asked for brownies and a blender. And I bought her a shockwave game... and I'm going to sew up a feather pillow that's being feather explosion. Also, I bought her an Entenmann's cheese twist danish. Also... this comment is too long.

I got it taken care of. Went to the Lutheran Church down the street. Missed all but the very end of the sermon, but stayed for the fellowship, afterwards.

If'n you're interested, I'd be happy to go to church with you, whether on a maternal mission or a research review or whathaveyou. I most readily identify with St. Bartholemew's, but there's lots of options, and other than a few Cloistered Catholic places (no communion without a membership card), I'd be happy to visit any of them.

I think you might have a nice time at an evensong service.
