Dreams' Dreams, again.
May. 9th, 2007 10:20 amI was reading about L-Space, before bed, last night, so.. yeah. Dreams of infinitely-dimensional libraries. Also a dream that my mother had taught me how to be a ninja, and that she lived upstairs, from us, in a space that didn't really exist. Also, she was awtching the cat, for us, at one point.
In another section, more of the neighbours were okay, once you got to know them. The external base of the building changed, turning about 90 degrees clockwise, and becoming laid out in a line, rather than a cul-de-sac. People on their motorcycles had parked Way too close, and I was constant ly in danger of hitting them. One of the waitresses from Le Vortex was there.
I forgot to mention, last night, that we went to
bakeneko's party, yesterday, and it was very nice. Got to see a lot of people, and aet a lot of good food. We hadn't seen the new backyard, yet, so that was pretty cool.
You know what's not pretty cool? When the RIAA allows legislation to be psased to make it extremely inconvenient to sell something that You Own. That's right, as
mech_angel told me, last night, the RIAA has had laws passed in several stats that makes selling your used CDs to record stores harder than getting a driver's license, and imposing a thirty day waiting period on stores, before they can sell the merchandise that they've bought. Also? You wouldn't get money. You'd get store credit.
Read the article. This is some dangerous legislation, and No One Is Talking About It. You call or write your Congresperson, and you threaten them with votes. Care about and do something about something. Otherwise, stop complaining.
This is ridiculous.
Time for breakfast.
