wolven7: (Dream House)
[personal profile] wolven7
Layers of dreaming, involving a giant superhero war, inside the ailses of a comic store, which delineated the timeline of where things were gong to start to break down. Schisms, infighting, betrayls, all started happening when we reached the centre aisle, and the store spread out.

The store was also a department store with sales, and me and [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel were looking for new clothes. During this, we're in a representation of the Briarlake House, talking about the situation of the rooms, to [livejournal.com profile] beard. Discussing the disposition of the game room, and the re-arrangement of furniture.

Talking to someone about a dream I had in which we did many things. And in that dream recall was another dream about the war, wherein a samurai with a monofilament whip sought to destry two brothers, because they had killed his friend and mentor, so he managed to jump up on top of their jet, while it was taking off, and sliced through the cockpit, but the first thing you saw was the tops and the rest of their heads flying off, and then the top of the cockpit glass fell of and shattered.

When he got there, I was recounting this to [livejournal.com profile] beard as if it were an episode of an anime that he was unable to catch.

Back to the store, and the sales, and the conversations with old women, and then, outside, another dream, in which I'm discussing all of the other dreams, with [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel, lying in bed, talking about something that indicates that I don't want to get up. But I do, because I need to write it all down, before I forget it.

A rush of words and images, and then I actually woke up. Here we are, then. That many layers of dream gives everything a very fouth-dimensional-tunnel look, when you try to remember it. Time, place, memory, all helixing levels and balconies. Weird.

Yesterday's dreams were of hotels and schools, though I cant fully remember them, now. [livejournal.com profile] warren_ellis was there. *shrug*

Went to visit my sister, at Horizons, yesterday. Her graduating class project is to make the waterfall work, again. I felt that, as a member of the graduating class which Built the fucking thing, who is also the bother of one of the graduating members, who also lives around the corner, I would be remiss in my duties if I did not help them figure out what the hell was wrong. We didn't figure out what was wrong, but we did gt the old liner and all of the rock out of there, along with most of the water. [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel remarked, astutely, that they are not doing everything they could, with that space. Not anymore...

*deep breath*

Okay. Better, now.

In other news, I'd like to go ahead and introduce some new people around this place. Everyone? This is [livejournal.com profile] gamoonbat, [livejournal.com profile] kenix (it's his birthday today, say something nice), [livejournal.com profile] kristamas, and [livejournal.com profile] sanx. [livejournal.com profile] gamoonbat, [livejournal.com profile] kenix, [livejournal.com profile] kristamas, and [livejournal.com profile] sanx? This is everyone else on my friends list. I don't expect y'all to get along (yes, I know, I just typed "y'all"), but we can at least get some interesting conversations going, I think.

Hm. Still no word back, from my directors, as to the paper I turned in to them, yesterday. I don't know how to feel about this, yet.

Going to go drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of cereal. I'll see you all later.

We spent almost an entire class period one time in second year Latin on a tangent about the etymology of second person plural pronouns through the Indo-European languages.

The upshot is that "y'all" is actually one of the best colloquialisms available that is linguistically justifiable as a dialectic correction to a fault in the English language.

I'm glad you went in to work on the waterfall. Though I don't feel bad about it not working anymore. I feel that all good senior classes provide potential goals for future seniors.

True, but man that thing is busted.

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] kitsuchan.

It just means you guys set a high standard. You guys have such faith in the school that you think future seniors might have a chance of making that busted-ass giant squirtgun into the serenely-flowing water-feature of vision. :)

Yeah, well, I feel that I should've done it right the first time.

ahhhh...hubris?

If -you- had done it "right" the first time, it wouldn't have been the project it was meant to be.

That waterfall, and that school, could be so much more...Stupid government distributing money badly.

Part of me thinks that dream may have been what's been affecting your perception today. Or that they're related. At least, as long as you're sure it's not a physical problem. And if you're Not, be careful.
