The Red Paintings - [I'll Sell You Suicide]--- It's been a little while since posting from
wacko1138, so here's some really good news:
'[Philip K.] Dick is going to be enshrined in the literary canon with a Library of America edition of four of his greatest works.'
The Red Paintings - [Futureless]--- Now, that first link's for a Suicide Girls Culture page, so don't go clicking that, in work environs. 'Less you work where some of you might, in fact.
Next up we have, for the Alan Moore fans, in the audience: Rick Veitch, Alan Moore, and Stephen Bissette release Shiny Beasts. (The Red Paintings - [Destroy The Humans]). You Love it.
Went to see new Spidey, tonight. It was awesome. Only one or two gripes, and none of them really detracted from my love for this film. Not quite as strong as the second one, but definately more character depth and growth, than the first. I dug it greatly. Plus? Venom. Always for the Venom Love.
Lastly, for the evening, I was thinking about MC Frontalot's "It Is Pitch Dark," and I had a revelation. "You are likely to be eaten by a Grue./ If this predicament seems particularly cruel/ Consider whose fault this could be/ Not a torch or a match in your inventory."
MC Frontalot - [It Is Pitch Dark]--- Change one word of the warning: "It is pitch Black..."
You follow where I'm leading? You picking up what I'm putting down? Somebody asked themselves what kind of monster would live in the dark, waiting for you, and would leave you the fuck alone, with a torch, or other light source. Then they wrote a move about it.
Later.
