For the love of all that is unholy don't let these people run your lives:

John McCain: You showed a thing on the program where, the Majority Leader of the Senate said we lost. Then tell me whowon. Al Qaeda?...

Damn it, Harry, what you meant was that we're locked in an intractible stalemate, and that the American People, and the Iraqi people are losing. Attack on factual and emotional fronts. Then, when Senator McCain goes on his media circus, he can't stand on things like "If we lost then who won?"

Everyone thinks that these statements are exlclusive: "Either America will win the war on terror, or the terrorists will win it."

"You're either with us, or you're against us."

That there are only two options, there. No. That's not how it works. Those are CONTRARY statements. Not contradictory. They cannot both be true, obviously, but they Can Both Be False. It could be that No one wins the war on Terror, and it Could be that I'm the fucking Swiss.

Please... basic logic... or the people who run the country will be, on the whole, dumber than you. Do you want that?

Will be? Maybe I'm being arrogant, but I'm pretty sure they already are, and if I had the right inclination and schooling, I could probably run this place better.

Eh...despite that my past isn't as scandalous as yours, I doubt most of the coutry would put up with most of my predilections.
