Convival parties are generally the place for that. Small gatherings of people talking, uninhibited.

The "I Love You, Man," generally comes up because people don't know how to express the level of complex appreciation they have for their friends and family. So it becomes a generic "love."

But every once in a while, you get a conversation that opens you up, and lays you bare, but they always go away, in the sunlight...

I love those conversations.

Heh heh, I have those conversations sober. Usually if I'm drinking, I'm just more amused and trying not to be sick (yay water). At least so far.

I guess if I have friends that I'm comfortable enough around, I don't really require alcohol to open up that way. Just the right moment. Or a weak point.

Hopefully I'll get some more free time over the summer when things slow down. Right now I'm constantly working, in class, or out with my three closest friends. It seems there's rarely a time when I'm doing nothing, especially these last (and next) couple weeks.

I totally have a test tomorrow and a presentation... The presentation will be fine, the test I'm certainly not ready for. I'm taking a test tonight online after class and I have a final on Thursday. It's GRAND.
