Awesome: Old article
Apr. 6th, 2007 06:58 pmSuzanne Vega - [Luka]--- I got a copy of my old article, from the AJC. (Tom Waits - [Better off Without a Wife]). Re-reading it, now, I see a disjointed, somewhat choppy writing style, born of both an overall immaturity, and the restrictions of column inches. I could definately make it a Lot better, today.
A lot of my work, from then, displays a precosciousness that would later become a near-trademark arrogance, and an utter incomprehension of and disdain for the ignorance I saw around me, at every turn. The difference being that, now, I make an effort to understand it, and correct it (especially in myself), rather than simply yelling at people to "Be Better Damn It."
Still a good thing to read, also, I asked if the AJC had any paid op-ed openings.
The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - [Yog-Sothoth]--- We shall see.
