Dreams about my high school(s), and aliens, and a seige, with bomb shelters, and we had to hide in the gym. One of the bathrooms i went into, while i was in Philly, featured semi-prominently. Auto-flush toilets. Was weird. Oh, for those who've seen the movie, and the show, Powerpuff Girl/Big Lebowski reference: "That really tied the room together!" the Professor says, as his rug is stolen. Anyway, here's another poem.

Skin, Glass, Synth
She felt the smoothness
against her skin;
a slippery catching,
like playing water glasses,
beneath her fingertips.
She took a moment
to breath it all in--
the slightly animal smell
doing more for her than anyone else could--
then she pulled along the zipper,
and slid in.
The warmth, inside,
always surprised her,
no matter how often she did this.
She always felt a sense of guilt--
as if the "Real World"
should hold more of her attention--
but the sense of completion always
wiped it away.
She looked at herself in the mirror.
From the waist up, naked,
but for the leather jacket.
She thought of that nyte, in the car
("Seems so close; so far away.")
and how the jacket
was alll she had left.

("I run my hands over my vinyl pants,
lingering, pressing, perhaps a little too long on the crotch.
Thinking of the things i've lost,
I run my fingertips across my chest.
Thinking of the love i've lost,
I curl onto my empty bed,
and unzip my skin,
a little at a tyme.")

Love your use of tactile and olfactory sensations in this...and the little bit of sexy naughtiness.
Very nice....though, like many of your poems, so subtley disturbing ;-)
