Dreams, Science, Equality.
Mar. 13th, 2007 09:43 amDreams were of taking my younger cousin to meet her mother, at work, but she had some how regressed 7 years in age. Somehting about the marta train, and the area in which we'd live. Something else, later, about a teacher at the school who seemed to like me, because of my appreciation of his music taste, but never really asked me what I liked, and assumed that I was interested in him, because I asked him questions about the music to which he was listening. He taught a math-heavy class of some sort.
Good morning.
From my father, days ago, this report: Texas Instuments Chips Used in Ways "We Never Expected.". That's really quite a wonderful little piece of scientific triumph, you know?
From the desk of
wacko1138, we have this dispatch: New Prosthetic Arm, From Dean Kamen and DARPA. See? They're not all Weapons and such. Though this will undoubtedly have a weaponised version, somewhere.
From the desk of
raidingparty, the following: The Human Rights Campaign's "True Colors" show is coming to town, soon. Keep an eye out, in your area. It promises to be a fucking Amazing show, or an amazing cause. Tickets are going to go Fast.
Seven random hours of sleep, and I wake up to this... Hmm.
Yesterday I deamed of working at GDS which, in the basement, was a gigantic warehouse store in which I was looking for movies that I couldn't find. I was teaching and living in the school, and there was some kiond of conflict, or war or something, in the outside world, but nothing above the actual level of what happens now, the meaning was just super important.
Good morning.
