Peter Gabriel - [Signal To Noise]--- I was once told that one should not use one mystery to try to account for another. Specifically, this was in regard to the idea of free will happening at the level of quantum indeterminacy, with the idea that, in a probabilistic universe, there had to be some level of interaction between the Possible and the Actual. What better place for that than a machine that requires the use of those levels of things to function? Well, actually, all machines do, but I have some fairly radical ideas about the operations of the brain.

Ani DiFranco - [Paradigm]--- What I want to talk about, today, is the idea that possibly, maybe, somewhere in the realm of all things that could maybe happen somewhere in a possible world, the human brain can interact with quantum-level operations.

We have shown that we can interact with the operations of random number generators and other machines well enough to make the numbers on which we are focusing arise. We have shown that intent of a human agent can have an effect on the outcome of a mechanistic, external process. This is not "outlying " data. This is material that happened The Majority Of The Time. Read the report.

The Lounge Lizards - [Au Contrarie Arto]--- Now, Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) is shutting down, because they've shown what they can, and no one is really listening. All I'm trying to do, here, is say, "Hey. This happens." I sound like a conspiracy nut, or some kind of fringe scientist, but this shit has been extensively studied, and shown to occur. (Alan Moore - [March of the Sinister Ducks]). If this is the case, there is some serious interaction between the processes of observasion, intent, and outcome.

That being said, why deny the possibility of manipulation of other factors, in other ways?

I've lost the steam and thread with which I started this, but maybe I'll come back to it later.

Just click the links, read the sites, and so on. Glad to discuss any and all objections, questions, etc.
