Tool - [Intension]--- '...But now, researchers from the University of Washington (UW) claim that it is possible to detect gravitational waves emitted from what they call superstrings. Superstrings are, apparently, an observable effect consistent with at least one of the prevailing versions of string theory. UW cosmologist Craig Hogan describes superstrings as narrow tubes of energy leftover from the beginning of the universe, which have been substantially stretched out as the universe continues to expand...'

Isn't that nice? With every passing day, I have to resist the urge, a bit more, to say those four simple, ungraceful words.

Anyway, dreams of helping an awkward girl get her confidence to ask out the boy she liked. They were both about 10 years old, and he drew comics.

Some other section of dream about the Simpson family making giant snowpeople versions of themselves, and something causing them to fall over. Lisa then made a wish for more snow, and a perfect winter, which caused some wish-granting entity to show up, and have a go at it. It/He summoned a demon, though, which was supposed to live in the house, but it didn't. At that point, my youngest sister, her mom, and I were looking through old Latin spell books, and trying to remember basic principles of study and thought. We were pretty sure the spirit he had called had managed to go through the phone, as I was talking to Jacosa, while he was summoning, and we needed to reverse it. At the same time, there were other free-floating winter spirits. (Sponge - [Molly (Sixteen Candles)]). The entire length of this section, I was playing with a butterfly knife.

SAw a picture of a giant snowman, yesterday, and read an article about Giant people statues; watched a little bit of the Simpsons, and talked with [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel about the Goetia, and the Keys of Solomon. Butterfly knife? Something about the Douglas House, or simply my love of butterfly knives? Maybe it represents something else. Anyway, they all came together, rather nicely, I thought. I mean REALLY nicely... If I weren't in my head, I don't know that I'd have seen those.

Mirrormask - [In the Dark Forest]--- I'm working on blending my dreams back into a stranger mixture of parts, rather than the clearly pick-oputable things, as such.

Also, I think there was something in the dream about being i n a slight car accident, that was the first of the other two people's faults.

The Lounge Lizards - [Fatty Walks]--- I'm hungry, now, and I have a Lot of thesis work to do today, so I'll catch you all later.

Mmm. I wouldn't start blending them again too quickly. There's a reason it's all so easily read, I think. If only to differentiate the sorting and the re-perspectivisation (yay for assraping English to get new words) from the various other kind of Dreaming you do.

You have tons on your mind, from many different directions. Those obvious things may simply be a layer masking the deeper complexities that aren't quite so urgent or immediate. Maybe it's more of an exercise to get you to pick all of that out.

I can usually find the layers of meaning, even in the simple ones, and the obvious bits in the complex. I guess I just needed a reminder of that, for a while.
