Dreams of various families.

Cake - [Frank Sinatra]--- First, let me start off by saying that I smell roast beef and gravy. This is strange, as none of those things are anywhere near here.

Anyway, the dreams were stutters in times that never happened, in places of pure potential, about having two different families, one of which was trying to get me to grow up evil. (The Young Gods - [Charlotte]). The mother in the evil family was a crss between Lily Munster, and a female Desto, from Cobra, only without the being bald. The "sister" in that family (none of us were actually related) was Narcissa Snow, from greygirlbeast's Low Red Moon. (P.A.L. - [Das Gelöbnis]). We were in an apartment that was redecorated, now that the second family was living there. I made a note about how I'd always wanted to paint my room black, when I was a kid and Evil Mom told me that Now it Was, and that I should go see it. I wandered around to redecorated apartment (doors were shut that used to be open, new tables, and a giant gilded Christmas tree. I walked out into the dining room, and around the tree, making it to the side of the apartment where my room was, but the doors were closed and locked, and I didn't want to ask. (Diary of Dreams - [Giftraum]). I was trying to get Narcissa's attention, because there was something we had to do together, something we had to fix. Some element of "That 70's Show" in the backgrounds, like projection pictures on the walls, only with liminal substance.

Something in there about Joker being able to talk, and wanting to watch certain cartoons, on television.

Let me take a moment to talk to you about The Apocalypse. Again: If you just sit around doing nothing, not helping, not taking stewardship of this planet, like your god wanted, and being a general Asshole to people who aren't you, do you really believe that Jesus is going to be Happy with you? He was a freaking Hippie. A deep-thinking, layered, complex, theory laden, quantum mechanics using Hippie. He fucking Loved this planet, and said that his Dad wanted you to do the same.

Spread it far and wide, tell it on the mountain, when and if your Jeebus comes back, those of you just waiting and/or trying to accelerate it? Probably not going where you think you are. Monsters are necessary, in certain structures, but they don't generally get to live in the big fancy castle. Now, under my Rubicon... I mean rubrick, the Apocalyse isn't quite so theory- and morality-laden.

Anywho, more links: Hitachi develops system that discerns what people need from the flow of blood in their brains. This is cool because I'm glad people found a way to translate that. It's not cool, in my eyes, because it's going to start up the old Physicalism V. Dualism V. Monism V. Spiritualism V. Whateverism debate, again, and I could do without the headache that's going to cause, right now... *sigh*

The character of Narcissa is another one of those uncomfortably close things. The want to be part of something, the fury at Not being, at the scorn and exclusion...

And your bit about J.C. and the Apocalypse...That was...something. Beautiful. Neccessary.

I think pretty much everyone in our group can relate to Narcissa on some level. Or another.

Thank you. I just want more people to think about what the man meant and what he said. There's some good stuff in there, even if you don't like what the so-called followers do with it...
