New Year's was pretty quiet, this year: Went to

damnedsaint and

scamort's house, for the party. Ate some garpes, in the best tradition of the northern tribes of South America. (Bigdumbface - [Kali Is the Sweethog]). That was after counting down to the new year. Wandered around, a bit, but stared feeling really twitchy and weird, then

mech_angel wasn't feeling well, so we decided to go home.

Rang in the New Year by finishing Monstrous Regiment. It was awesome. It's the first new Pratchett i've read in a very long time. Need to read Night Watch, Going Postal, The Wee Free Men, and whatever else I've missed.
