It's a hoax. Cats and dogs are in the same order (Carnivora), but that's as related as they get. You'd have better luck crossing a seal (Phocidae) with a raccoon (Procyonidae).



When I was little, I tried to breed a rat with a Guinea pig to make Guinea rats. The Guinea pig ejaculated prematurely, though.

Yeah, was going to say. Just read a thing on cats and foxes, and people swearing they'd seen hybrids. They have different numbers of chromosomes so it's impossible. Unfortunately. Fox-cat would be the cutest thing ev-ar.
