Cranes - [Lilies]--- From [livejournal.com profile] wacko1138: (Video) Samsung’s $200,000 Machine Gun Sentry Robot. It's shape puts me in mind of ED209, from RoboCop.

"Ferroelectric materials have invaded the everyday lives of most people – they populate watches, smart cards, television remotes and medical ultrasound devices. Because of those important properties, scientists want to be able to use these materials at the nanoscale, but researchers know very little about how these materials work." Point is? Now they know more, and it's scaring them, a little bit. That makes me smile.

"There is no terminology here in this area," Prosandeev said. Heh

MC Frontalot - [Mountain Kind (Demo)]--- Found by me: "Appreciating that the universe is a 5D black hole is a mind-bendingly hard thing to do." REmember to read the whole thing. Otherwise you won't see the section of "The Power of Five."

You heard me.

DethKlok - [Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle]--- Cell Transplants Restore Sight in Blind Mice

Dreams of comics, in that I was in them, and reading them, and there was some kind of Messianic mesage, and dimension shuffling, to find the right world. (Bach - [Badinerie]). Something esle in there about friends from the department, and work being done.

My first fully waking thought (unfortunately) was about how I was going to afford Christmas presents.

Alanis Morissette - [Uninvited]--- Yeah. It's the most fucking wonderful time of the year, all right.

I think I might have dreamed about talking to someone about House of Leaves who, at the same time, really needed and really DID NOT NEED to read that book...

Hmm.

Back later. Lot of work to do, today.

I refuse to worry about presents. If I can make stuff, then great. I'm terrible at buying presents when it comes to family, though.

And....MWAH?!?! 'We are led to consider the idea of a set of "Russian doll universes", with each world embedded in another world of higher dimensions. There is as yet no way to know what we will discover when we probe these higher-dimensional universes.'

Fuck. Yes.
