These are the people and places I'm thinking about using to work on my thesis. Except for one or two, they are all practitioner-based resources, because there is no one else I can find doing actual study in the field. Therein lies the source of my debate. Who decides the field? What, how and why are we calling magic?

Can't clear my head.

Are you on the The Journal For The Academic Study Of Magic mailing list?

I highly recommend it. While the bulk of the list seems to be Academics who are Practitioners and aren't necessarily studying magic academicly, there are quite a few who are probing magic in one form or another as their academic mission statement.

I'll be checking it out, for this work, anyway, so thanks.

Investigate until he died, apparently.
