Saddam gets a death sentence.

Bob Dole comes out of the woodwork.

The Rev. Ted Haggard confesses, without really confessing. Self-loathing and finger pointing are in vogue, these days.

Eudaimonia. "Good Spirit." Used by Aristotle to mean the arrangement of body and mind, toward virture. The end goal of happiness, beauty, and the Good. Root: Daimonia. Spirit. Spiritual. A Good thing.

Pandemonium. Roughly "All Spirit." Used, recently, to mean chaos. The alpha-ki transformation from the "ai," during the Latinate reformation, movied "daimon" (lesser god) to "dæmon" (evil spirit). Pan. Great Horned God. New face of Satan. A Bad thing.

We changed the word, and we changed the world and how it was seen. The next time you think the recategorising words that matter doesn't, think about pandemonium.

I'm working on the understanding of the nature of my prospectus, and trying to find somemone on whom to focus.

That's a lie. I'm fucking around on the internet, watching "The West Wing," and tryingto convince myself that this shit is still worth the insane headache.

Let's not forget "Promethea," "Lucifer," Vellum, and a bunch of other shit.

Many many things in the world, but all under the auspicies of "fiction."

True enough, but it's hard enough when that's your first step, in the academic framework.

People don't get that changing a word means everything. And creating one? Feh. Pearls before swine, there, I tells you. Fuckers making up shit like 'bling' and not understanding what they're doing...

Precisely. This is why I get cringe-y when people misuse as many words as they do, in popular culture. It hurts my brain, and all of our concept-formation structures.
