[livejournal.com profile] wolven: do you have a clean funnel?

[livejournal.com profile] mendori: what size?
[livejournal.com profile] mendori: ... and why was my first thought to ask what size, when i should have thought ... why the hell do you want a funnel

[livejournal.com profile] wolven: Uhm... nozzle should fit into a two litrte bottle.

[livejournal.com profile] mendori: maybe
[livejournal.com profile] mendori: why?

[livejournal.com profile] wolven: Nuuuuthinnnn....

[livejournal.com profile] mendori: ....

[livejournal.com profile] wolven: Ok it's for Cthulade.

[livejournal.com profile] mendori: lol
[livejournal.com profile] mendori: it ate through another bottle?

[livejournal.com profile] wolven: Not yet, just making roughly five gallons of it, this year, and need a funnel for pouring.

[livejournal.com profile] mendori: holy crap

can we pool your resources with our for making? i went to kroger to look for the five gallon mix tub you mentioned, and found none. apparently white suburban kroger shoppers dont need anything bigger than a 2 liter mixer.

We should be getting there at about 7ish. Marriot. I'll give a call, and we'll work something out.

If you've got time, get thee hence to a brewshop and get a food-grade brew bucket. They cost about five bucks, I think...less than ten, anyway, and can store those sorts of things indefinately without anything nasty happenning. We have a few, but will be leaving town ourselves this evening.

"Best" is an interesting choice of words... Cthulade (the non-alcoholic kind) used to be known as "Damien's Kool-aid" back in high school. And everyone in the school knew of it. Some of the strangest facial expressions I've ever seen were on the faces of classmates brave or crazy enough to try the stuff.

I thought you guys had been brewing?

It's actually much easier to do it with tubing. That's what we use for transferring from a carboy or storage bucket to bottles.

Yeah, but I dodn't want to use Any of that stuff, as it will permanently stain/ruin it. ^_^

And I don't have the cash to get new ones, so I shoot for Charity. Or, perhaps, donations. Failing that? What comes comes.

ooooh yeah, duh. I forgot that you were doing this with something sticky and pinkish.

Well, again, I have some old/extra stuff that you could have, but I'm leaving town this evening and don't have time to drive into Atlanta to get it to you. And it would probably cost you as much in gas money to get out here to pick it up as it would to buy new. Poop.

Yeah. I have some sanitizer, from the beer making. i can fill the tub with it, and then dunk the moving prats in there, to make sure nothing too nasty grows too strong.

Hehe, great typo.

Dunking moving prats in sanitizer? Sounds like social engineering to me!
