I know some of you are a bit disoriented, when I offer to give you things, albeit from a limited selection, on My birthday, but think about this: The Anniversary of Birth is the date on which one is closest to their generative power. We are at that time, that sacred recurrsion, as the hybrid of Hoffstadter and Eliade might say, when everything is potential, again. In being born, we chose life and preferences, which links us back to that first creation, that first birth.

I'll have a Big Bang and a Fiat Lux, to go, please.

So why shouldn't I offer you gifts, and pleasures, and things within both my power and desire to give you (both, not one or the other)? As mech_angel pointed out to me, earlier, maybe that's Exactly what Jesus would do.

Not that he's a model of behaviour, or anything. I heard he liked the whores.
