DARPA funded this, starting in 1998 or before. Impact liquid armour is an amazing idea, and proof of concept, yes, but the densities necessary to dflect projectiles from, say, Skin, are not simply hard to attain, they're hazardous to the surface tension of said skin, if done in direct contact.

Similar problem as the bullet, different angle.

Or tapioca. But I hate tapioca, cornstarch-water, AND quicksand.

None of them have proven able to save my life.

Grampa always called tapioca Fish Eggs.
Quicksand is faster-acting when mixed with Gatorade. Because Gatorade "Absorbs 33% Faster than Water!"
