I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Warren Zevon - [Genius]--- Anyone else remember the Earthworm Jim cartoon? (Helmet - [Role Model]). There was an episode where Peter Puppy kept reciting the first two {Three} lines of the litany against fear. That made me very happy, when I was a kid. Still does.

Classes start, tomorrow.

Good night.

Yup.

He and Jim were strapped to slabs of some sort awaiting whatever doom was supposed to befall them that episode. I belive it was Queen -Slugforabutt's turn to try and kill them that episode.

Also, I think he was actually reciting the first 3 lines.

Really fast, ad nauseum.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I run the first two lines together sometimes.

Wow, that's really weird. I was just thinking about the Earthworm Jim Cartoon show either this morning or yesterday.
Also, is the copyright shit completely necessary?

Also strange that I happen to be watching Children of Dune on DVD when I pulled this post up. Shortly after a part where Paul's children are reciting the litany...

My favorite lines from Earthworm Jim the cartoon...

And now on the Planet of Easily Frightened People...

AHHH! Something green!
AHHH! Something not green!
AHHH! Air!

I don't remember the cartoon, but I do remember the video game. We had it for... Playstation, I guess. It was very much fun. I also remember having to correct my mother on a daily basis that it was Earthworm Jim, not Earthworm Jam

The copyright is necessary, to me, because I'd want any one to do the same, when quoting my work.

The ideas maay not be new, but I like to give credit to the ones who made them well known.

I loved that show. As [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel pointed out, shouldn't that be on DVD soon?

I played it on Genesis, and I'd love to play it again. I had so many cheat codes, for that game. It was awesome.

That's terribly sad.
