First up: Four-Dimensional Sculpture, or "Scientist Creates Dimension-Warping Abberation, Invites Horrors from Out of Space." Found by [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel.

Veruca Salt - [Don't Make Me Prove It]--- Secondly: Scientists Build Nano-Car. Found by [livejournal.com profile] wacko1138. It's got Buckey Balls for wheels. Hm. That's a word i don't write often. "Wheels."

Hindu Love Gods - [I'm a One Woman Man]--- Last one for the day: Giantology. Found by [livejournal.com profile] mendori. I'm going to go with extraordinarily well-done viral belief marketing, with some interestingly unforseen side-effects, until proven otherwise. (VNV Nation - [Homeward]). What I mean, by the way, is what I always mean, when I say shit like that.

On a long enough time line, a closed system, composing all known events, places, times, and objects (i.e. "Existence"), must necessarily contain all permutations of the above. There's some redundancy, in there, somewhere, but I just don't feel like clearing it up, right now.

Those are your links, for today. You know you want to believe. C'moooonnn....

Later.

{8.18pm: VNV Nation - [Perpetual]--- Also, I would like to note the type of preparation it will take, to not die, within the next few centuries, and I mean that individually and as a species. We're rushing in to things which will likely only let us go through the "Error" portion the once, and we're doing so with a very sketchy idea of the implications.

I've always said, Complete and Utter Destruction of Existence is a Last Resort, and I'm usually the impatient one, here, folks. Let's think a little longer and harder about how exactly we intend to integrate our new friends, when we build them.

You'd think people had never heard of symbiosis...}

I still say you need to work with [livejournal.com profile] thelala and create AI nanobots.

1) Making sure that we can respect each other as equals, first, is a large part of my plan. That goes for people AND artificially intelligent nano-machines.

2) If you want it to happen, you should start facillitating some things, don't you think? As long as she knows I come with my own team, already. I'd expect she'd come with hers, as well.

I like that word. 'Buckyballs'.

And yes. Realizing that respect is due cross-species, cross-organic-ness, and an understanding that there are other forms of intelligence, other patterns, and just because they aren't familiar to us, that doesn't make them less. That's just begging for annihilation.

It's an AWEz'm word. ^_^

And If more people would realise that, we would be a lot better equipped, to handle the coming apocalypse.
