This is the kind of feminism i mean when i talk about it (which is rare, unless you know me well). It's the kind of sex education i think we need in schools, and it's simply all around Sound Thinking.

I agree (except for that part about feminists- is she writing from the 1980s?). Sex is not nearly as big a deal as most people make it.

That kind of talk is still found, couched in other literatures. Check out Rita Gross, some time. Feminism in religions study.

Possibly, but it's definately not a mainstream view or any kind (not that there are many mainstream views- feminism is filled with conflicting philosophies). The strong inclusion of queer theory has helped difuse that even more. Even when the whole anti-sex thing is mentioned, there's a lot more to the argument than "sex oppresses women" including ideas about economics and consent/non-consent.

I just hate how the entirety of feminism is often reduced to "feminists hate sex/men" when for the most part neither view is accurate.

Feminism, like any -Ism, is made of many constituent parts. Those who speak and caper the loudest and most flamboyantly tend to get the spotlight. Unfortunate. However, there is a reason I distinguish between Feminism and Neo-Feminism.

Neo-Feminism contains almost everything that gives feminism a bad name, from what i've seen.
