The Dust Brothers - [Chemical Burn]--- Look at your LJ interests list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.

I changed some things. If you figure out what, you get a cookie. Also i filled these in, after i listed them. Music'll be a little weird.

Change: (Tool - [Lateralis]). I've been thinking about this, a lot, this morning, as the work through time, the beneficial or detrimental progression, or regression. The thing that, taken any way we want, makes us grow, regradless of whether we like it. It evolves us, gives us the strength and capabilities to continue.

Dead Like Me: I like shows that make people have to realistically deal with a fucked up situation which, most believe, would never occur in "real life." To that end: "What kind of a universe would give me the power to extract Souls from people's Bodies, but still force me to keep a suck-ass job, if I wanna eat?" - George, "Dead Like Me"

Dreams: Dreams, i think, can teach us a lot about ourselves. We can understand who we are and have been, via our dream life, and, if we're lucky or cursed, we can understand who we're trying to be. They give us the tools to know ourselves, and to process information, from the day, if we listen. Dreams about two of your friends having sex with dogs, and some other people runing around a subdivision, trying to avert the apocalypse, failing, and then getting into an argument, with two other friends, regarding the nature of time, for instance, tells me that i need to finish my conversations, and thought trains, before bed.

Ghost Dog: One of the best movies i've ever seen in my life, bar none. (LUXT - [Matthew 10:12]). It handles the way of the samurai, the life style, the devotion, honour, duty, and what that means, when one is betrayed by those one has sworn to protect, and whose ideals one has sworn to preserve. Forrest Whitaker was absolutely amazing, and the character interaction was superb.

Huggin: Thought. One of the ravens on Odin's shoulders, who flew into the world, to bring him news, and understanding. The other was Memory. They flew together, and were the physical embodiment of Odin's.

The German Language: I've read a lot of German, and I taught mysef bits and pieces. I have a littleSpanish, and les Latin, so i can muddle my way through the Romance languages, but German texts remain closed to me. (VNV Nation - [Strata]). I like Kafka, and Heisenberg, and want to be able to read things, in German text originals, where possible.

Marshmallow Peeps: They don't die. (Fuel - [It's Come to This]). Put them in coke, acid, hot water, whatever, the fuckers Just Don't Die. Waffle House Coffee kills them. Excepting the eyes.

Neil Gaiman: He writes stories that i enjoy reading. They do strange things to my head, a lot, by which i mean that they resonate, High, quick, and loud. Not everything, but many things. He has a talent for writing, and making things up that shiver closely to things distinctly Not made up.

Philosophy: (Rasputina - [Remnants of Percy Bass]). I like talking through things. I like researcihng things, and finding out thoughts, and stand-points, and logical arguments, for one set of thoughts, versus another. I like working through and figuring out the universe. I love Wisdom and Knowledge.

Roman Dirge: He draws and writes things that make me fall down, because i'm laughing so damned hard.

Snow|Predators|&Mimetic Polycarbon: Listen to and feel the cadence, there. (Coil - [Love's Secret Domain]). Let the images into your head. Recombine pauses. Silent, invisible, deadly, cold. Your blood on the snow. You know you love it too.

Tool - [Lateralis]--- Terry Pratchett: The man is funny, satirical, knowledgable, and writes like a Demon. His words resonate, as well, but in a deeper, sharper place, than Gaiman's.

Transmetropolitan: (Rasputina - [How We Quit the Forest]). Warren Ellis wrote the future, and it was beatifully fucked up and painful, and as full of people trying to do the right thing, screw people over, or teach us how to be something "better," as the present is, now.

Xarexcks'carelikcarta: (A Perfect Circle - [The Outsider]). A brother of mine and I had a word that meant something, and a way to find each other. This isn't that word.

In other news, we had a house meeting, last night. It went better than I had feared, so that was good. Still need to re-negotiate this lease, and that... that's going to be the difficult thing. Need to get my mother at an available time, to talk with mark. We'll see how things go, i guess.

I'm hungry, and i smell cold spaghetti bolegnese... That's a weird thing.

I'm going to go eat food. Laters.
