Well i'm back, and i still can't believe it.

Warren Zevon - [Frank and Jesse James]--- So, last night, after i found out about getting my assistantship, a giant fukcing storm swept through Washington, DC. It knowcked out the power at my dad's house, and tore down many, many trees. While i was at my dad's, we found two baby squirrels, in a nest that had been knocked from the tree that fell on their neighbour's house. We took them to the humane society, as they were very young. Pink and hairless. Poor things.

But here i am, now, home. I still can't believe how In the Nick of Time that thing came through... I'm e-mialing Dr O'Keefe, tonight, to get details.

Fuck yeah.

That was exactly the kind of kick inthe ass i needed. Getting away to DC, for a few days, always helps.

My uncle's wedding was very nice. Surprise, for me: my mom performed the Ceremony. I had no idea that was in the plans, because sometimes my family doesn't tell me shit. So that was neat. My new aunt is pretty cool. It was a damn fine service, and so on.

Mindless Self Indulgence - [Shut Me Up]--- It was a great weekend, but i'm glad to be home. I have work to do. Saw my new nephew, today. He's getting big...

Squirrely goodnesses. Hope they'll be ok. Even if they don't go back to the wild, a lot of places use animals they find and rehab to educate kids.

I didn't get a storm. I just got a surprise walking-out-the-door on my break at work and finding I could again breathe outside.

Glad things cleared up a bit. ^_^
