I believe so, as well... There's too much focus on the instantaneous, flashing, blinding strike of love, and not enough of the continuation of that feeling, every single time you see the person.
If you think about many of the troubadours of age past, their actions would get them brought up on stalking charges, today...
you cross back and forth between what is love and what is lust.
to say you meet someone for the first time and fell in love (that is, for it to be not premeditated) is somewhat a leap of faith. i refuse to say it is impossible.
but, to say you met someone for the first time and thought they looked nice or sounded nice or were interesting and that you were attracted to them in any way which later prompted you to make time to get to know them better, and that this getting to know them later led you to love them, now that is potentially premeditated but also mostly not.
and then finally, to hear of someone (lets make this outlandish and say Brad Pitt) and make it your objective to meet that person, and fall desperately in love with them. that is premediated.
Not really, just in a biblical style, from a group of things that passed through my head, yesterday. Jesus said, in Revelation, that the faithful shall know him. He didn't amend that statement, at all.
It's not that Faithful will know, therefore all who know are faithful. That's just crap. Ones enemies will be well on the lookout, too. And many, but not all, of one's enemies are faithless.

To plan to love someone, howwever, no matter who they are, and what they display, after having loved them, already is premeditated.
And i have loved someone, on first meeting them. Not impossible at all.
