Writing: Your Smile Moves the Moon.
May. 10th, 2005 10:47 pmFaith No More - [The Real Thing]--- Your smile moves the moon. I think about the fact of movement, and the idea that to move one thing, everything else has to move, and how much more true that is, for you, than anyone else. The corners of your mouth curl upward, and inward, and the molecules and spaces of the universe rush in to fill the gap; expand, contract. Think about it. You move the world, with your smile.
Your hair causes flux in the slipstream, disrupting magnetic fields, because you turned your head, because that flower was pretty enough to catch your eye. (Tori Amos - [In the Springtime of His Voodoo]). The tips of your hair flick the aether, and you hear the tiny whipcrack, somewhere in the back of your head, but you don't understand that means that you've displaced the homes and lives of billions, that the farther out you go, your astronomically equated curves parallel and intersect with everything. You are not untouched and alone, in this work. Everything moves instantaneously, so that nothing moves, at all, when you really think about it.
Crüxshadows - [Into the Ether]--- Your smile moves the moon and the spaces between. They fall into place, in your absence, longing to remain next to you, always. Your smile moves the moon, and our edges tear the spaces between.
Our fingers weave and sew a stitch.

I feel like it needs a coda, to explain:
I was trying to make lightning strike, and i realised something: the ways in which everything is connected to everything else. That, when you smile, the molecules of air, and space, and everything Move to accomodate that shift, to fill the space; that everything, necesasarily, reacts instantaneously, to the gravity of motion. So you litterally have an effect on the entire universe in the very Instant you do Anything, regardless of future ripples and motions.
It turned into This.
